Dr. Sayeedur Rahman, Director of IML
Dr. Sayeedur Rahman, Director of the Institute of Modern Languages at the University of Dhaka, holds a PhD in English Language Teaching. A distinguished academic with 22 years of experience, he served as a Professor and Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Advanced Research Collaborative, CUNY. Dr. Rahman, a certified Master Trainer, has led ELT projects with organizations such as DSCSC, Open University-UK, UNICEF, DAM, British Council, and EIA. As the founder and President of the TESOL Society of Bangladesh, his research focuses on ESL academic writing, EFL syllabus design, socio-psychological aspects of language learning, and EAP/ESP, earning him prestigious fellowships and recognition.
